BGD e-GOV CIRT placed Second at OIC CERT Drill
BGD e-GOV CIRT has won the second place in the annual CIRT Cyber Drill of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC). This is the 10th edition of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) cyber drill with member countries.
Oman, the host of the session, hosted the cyber drill on Monday. Project Director of Bangladesh e-GOV CIRT Tariq M Barkatullah informed this information in a press release.
The theme of this time's drill was 'The Rapid Evolving of Cyber Threats Landscape in Parallel with Innovation in Cyber Security Industry'. OIC CERT was established at the 35th session in 2008.
24 teams participated in today's drill. Computer emergency response teams from Bangladesh, Egypt, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries participated in it.
